Museums

The web pages in this section include links to select museums in North America and Europe.  The major effort behind the list of museums in North America, especially the United States, is to highlight institutions that have some link to Central and Eastern Europe.  A few institutions focus on architecture, building restoration, or another interesting topic.  The European museums are more general in nature and include not only the major attractions in capital cities but specialty museums and in other towns and cities.

This list is far from complete, which is especially true of the European museum list.  If there is any museum that is missing, do not hesitate to contact me so that I can provide the information that may help other travelers, be they wandering by vehicle, foot, or Internet.
